hi all. well until the zone i'd never heard of a softphone. is the entire service including the zbp free? tx!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but most of zbp is fre. There are some extra features those of us that have premium have, such as the ability to download voicemail, and the ability to create private conferences. But the use of zbp is free.

Just to watch out for you, new zoner, although zbp is free, the access numbers are located in different parts of the US and Canada. If they are not local to you, there may be a long distance charge on your phone bill. I've heard of some users call for a month or so, for long periods of time before figuring that out. So you have the heads up. Enjoy.
Yeah, it's only free if you either live in one of the cities where the phone number is local or if you have a phone service with free long distance.

I'm sure that there are other alternatives out there, but we recommend using SJPhone for ZBP and to answer the question, yes it is completely free. Simply install, then connect as many times as you wish, for as long as you wish, at no cost to yourself.

ah cool thanks Dan! i may just go premium though, all i want to do right now on zbp would be check my voicemail, and i just got 33 spyware infections in my registry from something, so... thanks though!
